Two months later I am still determined as ever to accomplish this task, all in the name of charity (and, well, to tick one item off my ‘bucket list’).

Simon Curtis’ latest movie, My Week with Marilyn, about the screen goddess proves just that. Nearly 50 years after her death, we are still intrigued by Miss Monroe.

Prior to becoming a Masters student at Westminster last September, I had spent the last nearly two years working as an au pair in London.
As part of one of my current assignments – to produce a front page of a newsletter – I wrote a piece about places to take children, for free, in London.
And because it isn’t always an easy task to find free activities in London, I thought I’d share it.

Over the Christmas period I was reunited with one of my most-loved (materialistic) possessions: my box-sets of the special editions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I wasted no time in curling up in bed and putting on the first of the three films: The Fellowship of the Ring. Not to watch the actual movie, but to listen to the cast audio commentary.
